SERVICES AND CLASSES RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

Your appointments and classes are very important to Barbara. They are reserved especially for YOU. Therefore, it a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling is required for appointments.  Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services. 

  

Any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed without 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. Class deposits are non-refundable regardless of attendance and will not be refunded under any circumstances. Any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed may be taken off of a contract/package or charged individually.

 

As a courtesy, your appointments and classes are confirmed electronically at minimum the day before your scheduled appointment or class by email and/or text messaging because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  

 

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment and class dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments or classes which result in a cancellation fee.  Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments or classes from us the day before is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment or class.

 

Any late arrival to an appointment will shorten your appointment time and will not be made up by running into the next client’s scheduled appointment. Instead, the missed time will come out of your allotted appointment time. Any late arrival to a class will shorten your class time and will not be made up interrupting the other students time or by the instructor staying later. If a client is not in the class for the required time, the client risks not obtaining their certification

 

Emergency absences will be considered on an individual basis by Barbara.  You may request not to be charged for the late cancelled session in writing within 7 days if you feel such action is warranted.  Barbara will make the decision to honor your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond back to you in writing within 7 days.

 

It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply.

 

Barbara reserves the right to terminate a service during the appointment for any reason. If a termination is required, an appropriate refund will be given.

What YOU decide to do with the information gained in a class or during a service, including any actions you take, is YOUR own choice/decisions and YOU hold all responsibility for your decisions and interpretation of services and classes. You understand that Barbara Berndt is not a licensed medical doctor and does not offer medical diagnosis and at no time should any services or classes be regarded as legal, medical, financial, psychological or business fact.

Barbara will not make any intent or claims that services or classes provided will directly treat, cure, diagnose or prevent any conditions, diseases or illness. The services and classes provided are for YOU to utilize on your journey to find your optimal mind, body and spirit and you are responsible for all decisions and choices you make for your journey. Any information gained through services or classes is for educational and entertainment purposes only. 

As Barbara is not a licensed medical doctor, she will not make recommendations/comments/suggestions on current programs issued by licensed medical doctors. Always seek the advice of a licensed medical doctor or other qualified health care provided regarding medical conditions before starting any diets, exercise programs or other physical/mental health program.

Client/Student accepts all accountability and responsibility from any life choice changes/decisions made based on attendance of a service or class. When scheduling a service or class, YOU accept full responsibility for the choices YOU make as well as whatever consequences or benefits they may have. YOU understand that You are completely responsible for yourself and release Barbara and Rejoice: Mind, Body and Spirit, LLC from any consequences and from any decisions YOU have made based on services provide or classes attended.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you.
